Tyler, the creator released a new video for his song “Lemonhead” on Thursday July 8th and he doesn’t fail to disappoint with his wacky visuals in which he appears as his alter ego Wolf Haley.
The video is less than two minutes long and begins with Tyler talking briefly about his old tubist. “Sir. Bobo was a very talented person, but I don’t think I was doing my best to express what I wanted. I know the tuba was too heavy for him, but I needed to do this shit,” he said.
Tyler shows Mr. Bobo how to play the instrument, eventually starting the track. The video then moves on to Tyler cruising on a speedboat, cruising through a mountainous field while hitting his heart before jumping with his briefcase. For some fans, the setting may be familiar; it looks like his recent iconic BET Awards performance in which he drove a retro car before leaving with his luggage.
Later in the video, Tyler is surrounded by parked pastel cars matching his sleek fit. The video ends with him riding a penny bike out of sight of the camera.
“Lemonhead” is the third track from his latest studio album Call me if you get lost, which was released on June 25, and also the third song to receive visual treatment after “Corso. “The album debuted at No.1 to Billboard Top 200 Albums With 140.1 Million Song Streams, Beating Doja Cat’s Debut Album Planet she. Tyler also dethroned Doja in the No. 1 ranking of the two Billboard Table of 100 artists and the Rolling stone Table of 500 artists.
Tyler’s previous LP, Igor, in the same way open to n ° 1 on the Billboard List of 200 albums when it was released two years ago. Prior to that, he released four studio albums, each ranking in the Top 5.
