Lamborghinis have long been a source of design inspiration. Everything from high-end watches to Roger dubuis to luxurious Italian superyachts have taken creative cues from distinctive sports cars – and now one lucky outboard has received the Lambo treatment.
Studio based in Milan Officina Armare Design unveiled a luxury day cruiser that reflects the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster both in beauty and muscle.
More from Robb Report
Simply dubbed the A43, the badass cruiser boasts a sleek and ultra-light carbon fiber hull, angled windshield, large side air intakes, inverted arch and narrow LED headlights, as well as sleek lines. aggressive and sharp angles typically found in the top-line Italian supercars. Glossy reflective paint in a two-tone jet black and eye-catching canary yellow theme makes the ship just as stylish as its muse.
The interior is decidedly simplistic but has all the necessary elements, including a very large compartment dedicated to champagne. The cabin is loaded with luxurious textures – think carbon, leather, and wood – and comes complete with a dining table, fridge, sink, stove, toilet, and a couch that seats four. There is also a shower in case that cruise day turns into a night.
Beyond appearances, this baby also runs like a Lambo on the water. The A43 is fitted with naturally aspirated Lamborghini V12 engines and can cross the sea at an impressive top speed of 80 knots or comfortably sail at 50 knots. The Caterpillar Three60 pods ensure smooth navigation while the lateral bow thruster, which is installed near the bow, improves maneuverability at low speeds and when docking. The high octane vessel also features air entrapment tunnels that redirect airflow and create aerodynamic lift at high speeds while cooling the engines.
Of course, right now all we’ve got are these realistic and very drool-worthy renders. But we’ll be keeping an eye on Officina Armare Design to see when the A43 finally hits the water.
