The world’s largest cruise ship is heading to Florida to join the Royal Caribbean fleet

It took 3 years to build, but now the world’s largest cruise ship is set to make its maiden voyage next month. the wonder of the seas by Royal Caribbean integrates classic offerings with new and improved experiences and spaces.

The cruise ship has nearly 3,000 cabins to carry around 5,700 guests. It is 210 feet wide with 18 decks and 24 elevators. Among the novelties, a large family suite, which can accommodate up to 10 people. The Ultimate Family Suite is part of the ship’s Suite Quarter, an area reserved for suite passengers that includes a plunge pool, bar, private terrace and private restaurant.

There is also a brand new restaurant and bar on board the ship. The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar will serve southern dishes like fried chicken, crab cakes, shrimp and grits in a farmhouse atmosphere. There will also be live country music. The Vue Bar offers ocean views and happy hour drinks.

For children, the wonder of the seas has the Wonder Playscape – an interactive playground with slides, climbing walls and games. This is in addition to three water slides and a second children’s water park near the main pool deck.

Adding to the new additions are beloved Royal Caribbean offerings like Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, kids and teens areas and a surf simulator. wonder of the seas is Royal Caribbean’s fifth ship in its Oasis-class cruise ships.

Ship’s Routes

wonder of the seas will make its maiden sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 4, 2022, to the Caribbean. Itineraries available in March and April include Eastern and Western Caribbean destinations, such as the Bahamas, Honduras and Puerto Rico. Then, in May, the wonder of the seas will go to Europe and offer a Western Mediterranean cruise with stops in Naples and Spain. It will then return to Florida – but this time to Port Canaveral – where it will offer sailings to places like St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Cozumel.
