Westerdam Delayed until June
In September, Holland America Line announced that the Vista class Westerdam was to start sailing again with a series of 7-day Alaskan crossings from Seattle, Washington, from May 8, 2022. This reboot has now been changed, with several early departures cancelled.

Any further Westerdam departures in June and throughout the summer have not been changed.
Passengers who have rebooked on similar crossings
For customers who booked on the now canceled Westerdam cruises, their reservations are transferred to comparable cruises on the slightly larger Signature Class Eurodam. Although the cruise itineraries are similar and both ships depart from Seattle, Eurodam makes its 7-day trips on Saturdays, while Westerdam departure on Sunday.

Reservations are transferred automatically and passengers receive the same or equivalent cabin category with all their cruise fare incentives and promotions protected. Customers who have booked airfare through Holland America Line’s Flight Ease airline program will also see those travel arrangements changed accordingly.
Customers who have booked their airfare independently may file a reimbursement form for Holland America to cover the cost of changing those travel arrangements. All other purchases through Holland America Line, such as shore excursions, gifts, meals and spa, will be refunded to the form of original purchase.
New booking methods on board Eurodam will be confirmed no later than February 14, 2022.
Eurodam currently sails from Fort Lauderdale on a series of Panama Canal routes.
