Greg Mortimer to Lead Arctic Voyage for Aurora Expeditions

Aurora Expeditions takes your clients on a unique journey to the Arctic, led by none other than founder Greg Mortimer, he has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and three medals from the Australian Geographic Society.

As expedition leader aboard the eponymous vessel, Mortimer will take them On the other side of the arctic circle, a 15-day navigation since Scotland in Norway which will depart from Aberdeen on May 16, 2023, taking them to the Orkney and Shetland Islands, Bear Island and Svalbard, until finally arriving in Longyearbyen on May 30.

“I can’t wait to bathe again in this exquisite arctic light. It’s been a long time. This time it will be even more surreal, being on a boat with my own name on it. I look forward to seeing you there,” Greg Mortimer, OAM, said in a press release.

Prepare your clients for whale, walrus and polar bear watching, not to mention the incredible sights, villages, castles, breathtaking landscapes and cultures they will discover, all under the guidance of Mortimer. It’s Adventure with a capital “A”.
