Emerald Cruises’ new superyacht, Emerald Azzurra, will depart on her maiden voyage from Aqaba, Jordan on March 11, 2022. The maiden round trip will last eight days, calling at ports in Egypt and Israel on Emerald’s “Best of the Red Sea”. ‘ itinerary.

The itinerary includes excursions such as scuba diving to see shipwrecks in Aqaba, visiting Saint Catherine’s Monastery in Hurghada, Egypt, and a guided tour of Timma Park and the Eilat Underwater Observatory. in Eilat, Israel.

Emerald Azzurra’s itineraries will also include several water activities, including guided kayak tours, scuba diving and paddleboarding. Her marina platform is designed to give guests easy access to the water.

Following her maiden voyage, Emerald Azzurra will sail a second Red Sea cruise before beginning her spring and summer season, where she will cross the Mediterranean and the Adriatic on an eight-day “Highlights of Southern Italy” itinerary from Rome to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Highlights will include a guided tour of Sorrento in Italy, a kayaking trip on the Amalfi Coast and a tubing trip on the Alcantara River. Ports of call include Amalfi, Giardini Naxos, Crotone, Otranto and Monopoli.

The new ship carries a maximum of 100 passengers and has 50 luxury suites and cabins, 80% of which have a private balcony. Other public areas on board include an infinity pool, spa, gym, and sauna. Due to its size, Emerald Cruises is able to visit ports and harbors that are only accessible to small yachts.
