The first 2,000 guests board a Carnival Sailabrations cruise
On Sunday, the 2,000 guests embarking for Carnival Miracle had more than enough reason to celebrate. First, they embarked on a 14-day cruise to Hawaii; second, they were the first guests to celebrate Carnival Cruise Line’s 50th anniversary in style.
“From the moment our guests walk into our terminals, they’ll know they’re at the biggest and best birthday party ever. We only turned 50 once, so we had to think big, and what’s bigger than a one-year birthday party that starts with our special Sailabrations cruises,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
The 50th anniversary of the world’s most famous cruise line has finally begun. These birthday cruises will include ship-to-ship encounters at sea, special entertainment, unique activities, special occasion menus, such as a one-night commemorative menu that includes some of the most popular carnival dishes of the past 50 years, and more.
“As we kick off our year-round 50th anniversary celebration, we are thrilled to have Carnival Miracle be the first to embark on our special Sailabrations cruises. We are ready to show our guests the celebration of a lifetime with unique entertainment experiences and exciting limited-time offers,” said Duffy.
