De Wave Group has announced the completion of four new build cruise ship equipment projects in 2021. Projects now completed include Holland America Line’s MS Rotterdam, MSC Cruises’ MSC Seashore, Viking Ocean’s Venus Cruises and the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady.

De Wave said she had been entrusted with “some of the most prestigious and impactful estates of the companies’ latest showcase ships”, with Rotterdam being the new flagship of the Netherlands and MSC Seashore being the leading vessel. of MSC’s Seaside EVO class.

The group is a manufacturer and contractor serving the “full spectrum” of cruise ship and yacht interiors from numerous shipyards and its own specialized manufacturing facilities around the world.

According to a press release, work on the MS Rotterdam focused on spa, gym and beauty salon areas, including:

Massage rooms on decks 9 and 10

Corridors on deck 9 and spiral staircase between decks 9 and 10

Gym, fitness area and changing rooms on deck 9

Beauty and hairdressing salon on deck 9

Thermal complex including Turkish bath with mosaic walls and dome ceiling, sauna, swimming pool, horizontal shower and chromotherapy showers

The Holland Rotterdam was delivered to the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard on July 30, 2021.

The Viking Venus was delivered to the Fincantieri Ancona shipyard on April 15, 2021.

The Valiant lady is the second “lady” of the Virgin Voyages fleet. De Wave Group has worked on the construction of the following areas:

Wet units for passengers and crew

The Valiant Lady was delivered to the Fincantieri Sestri P. shipyard on July 1, 2021.

The total value of the four orders is around 70 million euros, while other projects totaling around 26 million euros are already progressing steadily towards delivery by the end of 2021.

With these new constructions, the De Wave group believes that it “further consolidates its reputation for quality manufacturing using the best materials while coordinating several teams, including in difficult technical fields”.
