Cunard to showcase Australian food and wine aboard a celebratory culinary journey

Foodies will rejoice as Cunard celebrates Australian food and wine with a special Australian grand culinary journey.

The line announced a new navigation aboard the luxurious queen elizabeth. The Great Australian Culinary Voyage will feature Australia’s unique food and wine on a five-day cruise from Sydney to Burnie, via Melbourne, departing on January 28, 2023 and returning to Sydney on February 2.

Australia’s top chefs, wineries and food critics will showcase the nation’s diversity and uniqueness, with exclusive dishes on offer to make boating a memorable experience for foodies.

Ms. Katrina McAlpine, Commercial Director of Cunard Australia, said: “Australia is not only known for its world-class beaches and beautiful locations, its unique products and talented people have earned us a reputation for being there. one of the main gastronomic destinations in the world.

“We are extremely proud to present this on our Great Australian Culinary Journey and to work with a fantastic array of acclaimed culinary talents that we will be announcing early next year. I am also very happy to give our suppliers a platform to showcase their amazing products and tell our customers the story behind what they eat and drink.

Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the culinary scenes of Sydney, Melbourne and Burnie on tailor-made shore excursions and taste and learn native ingredients and local produce, while tasting magnificent Australian wine.

No names yet – but the line promises a strong contingent of high Australian culinary society.

Introductory rates start at $ 1,349 for a Double Room in an Interior Stateroom, $ 2,908 for a Ocean View Stateroom, $ 3,498 for a Balcony Stateroom, $ 5,198 for a Club Balcony Stateroom, 5,698 $ for a Princess Grill suite or $ 6,298 for a Queens Grill suite.
