Crystal Cruises unveils the Grand Voyage 2022 aboard Crystal Serenity

(4:50 p.m. EDT) – Luxury cruise operator Crystal Cruises on Thursday unveiled plans for its 2022 Grand Voyage, announcing a special 132-night trip that will depart Miami on January 17, 2022.

The line’s new Grand Voyage “Caribbean Idylls and Mediterranean Masterpieces” sails from Miami to Los Angeles, calling at 82 individual ports in 32 countries. In total, 11 port stopovers will be overnight stays, including Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Naples and Cannes. As the name suggests, the majority of ports will be located in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, with an Atlantic crossing between the two regions.

Crystal intends this new 132-day Grand Voyage to replace the now canceled 2022 Global Cruise, which the line says had to be scrapped due to the number of travel restrictions in place on the original trip.

“Our clients are extremely seasoned travelers seeking discovery of the world, cultural immersion and the attraction of exotic global destinations,” said Jack Anderson, president of Crystal, in a statement.

“This expansive Grand Voyage 2022 has been expertly designed to present rare stopovers and unique experiences that offer our customers a new twist on even the most beloved destinations, while inviting them to enjoy the indulgences of Michelin-level cuisine, personalized service, unparalleled space and luxurious all-inclusive amenities and comforts that remain hallmarks of the Crystal experience. “

Prospective passengers can also choose from 11 different cruise segments that range in length from nine to 16 nights.

The Grand Voyage 2022 will be operated on board

Crystal Serenity. Passengers who originally booked on the 2022 Global Cruise will be able to book a passage on the new Grand Voyage 2022 during an exclusive booking window between September 14 and 23, 2021.

Reservations for the new Grand Voyage 2022 will be open to the general public on September 24.
