âAfter months of dedication and hard work, we got to see the exterior of the ship come together. Disney’s wish is almost over from a construction standpoint! We continue to work on the interior fittings, cabin installations and commissioning of the ships, âPhilip Gennotte, head of portfolio project management at Walt Disney Imagineering Germany, told the blog.
Since its last update, Disney Wish’s iconic front funnel, last block section, and âback watermarkâ have all been installed.
In a time-lapse video, Disney shared the times the rear section was put in place at the construction site.

âNot only does each step signify another step towards the launch of our new ship next summer, but it also represents the amazing team that made each step possible,” said Gennotte.
